Spring

Flower fragrance fills up the air with beautiful scents

Warmth accompanies it with its slight breezy air.

Bees buzz with all the other insects that appear.

Sun shines bright with its blinding rays.

Spring makes people different with its ways.

Weather sometimes confuses us all,

but spring has a plan, and it’s a ball.

Spring is here and it’s all around,

once just stop and listen and you will see and hear things

you never thought.

Spring Poems

A Walk in Spring

taking a walk in spring

when the birds sing

when the butterflies dance

and the deers prance

walk down to the beach

what a peach

looking down in the watery world

were fish swim and seaweed swirled

the ocean roared

so I go back to shore

breathe the smell of fresh air

and feel the breeze in your hair

taking a walk in spring

in the sand I lay

and I see dolphins play

Spring

Spring

is coming soon

flowers will soon start to bloom

birds return from the south

bees are buzzing all about

spring

the big round sun

that glows and warms everyone

soon I can go swim

I will swim till the sky gets dim

spring

this spring is better than the last

but it won’t last

spring really does go fast

Poems by Emily B.

Spring

The small buds on the trees

Flowers blooming on the floor

All the baby animals, coming out

The sweet morning dew on the grass

The lawn chairs are set

The night fires and dinners are about to begin

All the children playing outside again

Families start to gather

The light morning breeze

Cool crisp days

Sunny and warm

And the promise of summer around the corner

College Football

I’m picking a new quarterback

For the first time in three years.

If I get it right

There will be tons of cheers.

I’ll win games and championships,

Get rings and fame.

If I pick the wrong one,

I have Kiffin to blame.

Whispers

Whisper, whisper, whisper,

I hear someone talking

Whisper, whisper, whisper,

They gossip while they’re walking

Whisper, whisper, whisper,

A girl sits crying

Whisper, whisper, whisper,

The walking girls are lying

Whisper, whisper, whisper,

I watch souls dying

Whisper, whisper, whisper,

That’s why the girl’s crying

Whisper, whisper, whisper,

But why are they lying

Whisper, whisper, whisper,

But the important question…

Why aren’t we helping?

Change by Peyton M.

When we’re young, little children,

We are used to change often,

We don’t really notice it.

But as you get older and older

Change is something we dread

and want to regret

We have our little routines

Same car, same house, same clothes,

same everything.

Unless we try, change won’t really come to us.

But if you’re anything like me

You don’t mind a little shake in routine

It makes life unpredictable

If you’re willing to take a small risk

Take the change

Pitter-Patter…Pitter-Patter

I could see it out of my window,

Like the sky was trying to make a lovely song,

It came down unlike fire billow,

Down it came stretched along.

Pitter-Patter…Pitter-Patter

I could see it trying to gleam through the clouds,

Like it was trying to overcome the gloomy sky,

It finally came through the crowd,

And there it was a glowing medallion in the sky,

A blazing, flaming ball of light shrouds

Across the sky it makes the rain say “Bye,”

There it came across the earth as if it was bowling,

Came the sun.
